Underhill is a comfortable yet very original 16th century cottage in the village of Cheriton Bishop on the northern edge of Dartmoor National Park. The village has a post office and very good village shop; two pubs serving excellent food; and an ancient church, all within walking distance. Riding, cycling, walking, fishing and golf are available locally as well as many gardens and historic houses.

We are in an ideal position for visiting the north and south coasts; for moorland and river walks (you can be on the high moor of Dartmoor National Park in 15 minutes); and the attractive Cathedral city of Exeter and the country towns of Okehampton, Crediton and Moretonhampstead are all roughly 15/20 minutes drive away.
